My name is Amanda Miller, and this year I am a senior at Vicksburg High School. As a more reserved individual, I tend to spend most of my time partaking in mainly artistic activities as drawing has always been my favorite method of expressing myself. This year I have developed concentration pieces representing how I felt the past year as I had lost two important individuals in my life. The theme is focused on not letting go of the past while stuck in a speeding-forward reality. My drawings reflect that I am present in the dull, grey reality peering into the vibrant past through a virtual reality headset, wishing I could relive those memories all over again.
